Anava xiulant el vent
La boira omplia la vall
L'estany era d'aigua lluent
Sota la lluna corre un cavall!
El sol esporuguit amaga
Darrera els turons. Calla,
Vent encisador! una ombra vaga,
Càndida forma ,alba malla!!!
La fera balla vermell
Tothom es tanca a les cases
Llum formosa del castell
Tu aniràs darrera els ases.
El foc lluent regna al bosc
La lluna ha fugit depresa.
Judici de sang: negre joc.
La flor mes bell ja es presa.
Cavaller amat, cavaller
fornit
Corre sense repòs i lluita amb rebuig
Apaga la flama, fes-li morir
La Rosa recull per la teva dama...i fuig
